My goal is to inspire all my students to become self-learners and to dream great dreams.  I believe success begins with a winning mindset and that all students can learn and can be "Victorious".

I am a native to Arizona and grew up in the Glendale Area.  I graduated from Alhambra High School in the top 10% of my class and was a scholar/athlete with 6 varsity letters.  I received the Minority Student Achievement Award from the University of Arizona.  This award is awarded to one male and one female student in the state of Arizona every year for outstanding academic, athletic and character achievement.

I decided to stay local and attended Glendale Community College and received my Associate of Arts.  I then transferred to American Indian College and graduated, Cum Laude, in 2000 with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education.

My teaching career has been an amazing journey.  I have taught at two separate charter schools and was employed primarily as a middle school math teacher.  I have held the title of:  testing coordinator, lead teacher and Principal.

In 2016, I returned to the education arena.  I had the privilege of meeting Mr. Nick Schuerman and he shared with me the wonderful vision of Victory Collegiate Academy.  It didn't take long for me to realize I needed to join this wonderful organization and help make a difference in the community where I live.

I am excited to teach Mathematics this year to our 6th and 7th grades.  I will expect hard work and effort from every student.  I will strive to be the best teacher at VCA and they will strive to be the best students.  We will aim high and we will "WIN".
